South Africa Cybersecurity Audit Position

As a Senior Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of client security systems and procedures, both remotely and onsite. This includes ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, mentoring and coaching junior team members, and collaborating with peers on audit methodology and toolset development. You will also document test results, manage incidents, and complete projects to agreed deadlines while adhering to our Project Management procedures and Quality Management System.

Key Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent diploma, with ISTQB qualification and programming languages such as C, C++, .Net, JAVA, Linux, and SQL. Relevant certifications like CISA, CISSP, or Lead Auditor ISO27001 are also preferred. Additionally, at least 2 years of experience in audit activities or ISO27001 field is necessary, accompanied by strong soft and interpersonal skills, technical acumen, leadership abilities, and attention to detail. A valid driver's license and passport, along with the willingness to travel, are also required.
